Spiritual Traditions

The spiritual Traditions are arranged based on the origin of the the tradition.  The eastern religions are found primarily in Asia, and the Western Traditions are found primarily in Europe and North America.  The African traditions include traditional African religions, Yoruba, MAAT, and Aken.  Due to the transcontinental slave trade, a mixture of African, Caribean Island, South American, and African American traditions are mixed together and may be found duplicated in these areas.

African Spirituality - African Spirituality is as old as time itself.  Links are provided to introduce the tradition and to provide a road map for further study.

Eastern Spirituality - Eastern Spirituality is older than African Spirituality and contains many of the Sacred texts that have been left by the Spiritual Masters to give instruction on developing the self while on the earth.

Western Spirituality - Western Spirituality is relatively new in the world of Spiritual traditions, and combines western thought and the emphasis on on the mental center with the devotional heart centered approaches of the east.

Sacred Sound

Sacred Sound is used as a medium of transference by many ancient traditions.  The link between sound and spirituality is well know in the Native American Traditions, in the Aboriginal traditions and in the African Traditions.  We provide information on the use of sound and the different sources of sound including the human voice that will enhance your spiritual practice.
